Kiwanis of Cortland’s Annual PBJ 500 Pulls in Over 1,000 Jars
Kiwanis of Cortland says their annual PBJ 500 this year has brought in around 1,160 jars from donations by members of the community. With this, the organization says they have provided for 410 families in the snack pack (backpack) programs, the high school pantry, college pantry, the senior pantry, the soup kitchen located at Cortland Loaves & Fishes, and 8 small food pantries within Cortland County.
Overall, 580 families have been provided assistance from the food drive. Kiwanis credited the dedication of their volunteers and the community who came together to donate.
