The Kiwanis of Cortland are hosting their 6th annual PBJ 250 food drive through February 8th. The organization is collecting unopened jars of peanut butter (and other nut butters) and jelly that will be donated to local food pantries in the Cortland area.
A goal of 250 jars has been set by the Kiwanis and drop off locations for jars include: Optivision on Tompkins Street, CAPCO on Main Street, and the SPCA on McLean Road. Last year’s drive was proven to be a huge success; the organization collected over 800 jars with the help of the community and Cortland and Marathon Elementary students, Kiwanis says.
Kiwanis of Cortland have actively been assisting the community since 1936.
