A few years back the owners of Cortland’s Red Jug Pub decided to support St. Baldrick’s, a charity that helps children who have cancer.

John O. Reagan of Cortland has been a part of the fundraiser from its beginning here in 2014. “This will be my fifth year doing it….raised close to $2,000 a year personally,” said Reagan. “The event raises between $10-$20,000 a year, depending on the participation. It’s a great community event.”

Reagan says people are used to calling him “cue ball” at this time of year.

“It’s nice to do something that’s good for the community, good for children, and it’s simple to do. People love to donate. All I have to do is ask for donations and let someone cut my hair.”

Again – visit and type in John Reagan. He invites you to share the fun at the Red Jug Pub on Central Ave in Cortland, Saturday at 2.
