Joan Jett, Loverboy, Sister Sledge among artists perform at Texas’ Wildflower! festival

Courtesy of City of RichardsonA variety of well-known artists are slated to perform at the 2020 Wildflower! Arts & Music Festival, which takes place May 15-17 at Galatyn Park Urban Center in the Dallas suburb of Richardson, Texas.

Among the veteran acts playing the three-day extravaganza are Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, Loverboy, Sister Sledge, The Charlie Daniels Band and reggae legends The Wailers.

Daniels and his band will play the festival’s first day; Jett and her group, Loverboy and Sister Sledge will be performing on day two; and The Wailers will serve as headliners during the fest’s final day.

Other artists on the lineup include rockers Collective Soul and Candlebox, and country singer Sara Evans.

In addition, the multimedia David Bowie tribute act Space Oddity will be performing on all three days of the event.

The Wildflower! Arts & Music Festival will feature more than 100 musicians performing on six stages during the three-day bash.

Besides the performances, the fest will offer a food court, kids karaoke, an art exhibit, a butterfly tent, and various vendor booths selling art, jewelry, hats and more.
