JM Murray Celebrating Mark Spencer as ‘24 NYS Association of Day Service Providers Direct Support Provider of the Year

To launch Direct Professional Support Week, JM Murray has announced that their own Mark Spencer will receive the 2024 New York State Association of Day Service Providers (NYSADSP) Direct Support Provider of the Year Award.

The award recognizes an exceptional commitment to community connection and autonomy among those he helps. Mark has helped his clients make their daily tasks doable whilst being conducive in helping them achieve and prosper with their interests. Whether it’s helping somebody live on their own, creating a budget, or helping them try new things, Mark is considered warm and tenderhearted in doing so.

“I’m humbled and honored to receive this award, but it’s not mine alone—it wouldn’t be possible without the support of JM Murray,” said Mark. “It’s a joy to invest in the lives of our neighbors and hopefully bring them some added joy and purpose. They give me more than I could ever give them.”

Mark will be honored on Thursday, November 7th at the NYSADSP Annual Symposium in Saratoga Springs. Direct Professional Support Week begins on September 8th and is celebrated through the 14th.
