The J.M. McDonald Sports Complex and Fitness Gap closed down temporarily at 4:30 pm yesterday.
Officials say they’re taking the time to deep clean and implement new protocols from the Cortland County Health Department.
Patrons should be on the lookout for these updated guidelines once the facilities reopen Friday morning at 9 am.
More below in the official state by JM Staff:
“Good Evening JM McDonald families and customers,
We understand that Cortland County is currently in a state where COVID-19 numbers are rising drastically.
In an effort to be a part of the solution for the community and practice an abundance of caution, the J.M. McDonald Sports Complex will be voluntarily closing Wednesday night at 4:30pm until Friday morning at 9am.
We will be taking this time to deeply clean the facility. Upon reopening Friday our protocols will be updated in accordance with the County and State Health Department so please be on the look out for those protocols before your next visit to the facility.
It remains our mission to provide safe recreation to our communities so we thank you all for your continuous support even through these difficult times.
Please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns.”
