Today is election day and the polls are open until 9 o’clock this evening. You may find your polling place by going to VoterLookUp.Elections.NY.Gov.
This year’s election on the back of the ballot will have questions for County residents including: removing a constitutional debt limitation that is in place for small city school districts, extending the authority for county, cities, towns, and villages to remove from their constitutional debt limits for the construction of sewage facilities, and approving the redistricting of Cortland County, the redistricting would reduce the number of county legislators from 17 to 15. For Cortlandville residents, they will also decide if they want to reduce the number of town justices from two to one.
