Ithaca Woman Steals From Walmart, Damages Store, and Found with Drugs

On Saturday, January 7th, the Cortland County Sheriff’s Department responded to Walmart on Bennie Rd. in the Town of Cortlandville for a reported larceny.

Through an investigation conducted by officers, they were able to determine 34 year old Brandi L. Rogers of Ithaca had stolen merchandise from the store and caused damage to the store and she exited.

Rogers was arrested by officers and was then found to be in possession of a controlled substance. She was charged with Petit Larceny, Criminal Mischief in the 4th, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th, all Misdemeanors.

She was taken to the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office where she was processed and then released with an appearance ticket to reappear at the Cortlandville Town Court at a later date.
