The City of Ithaca Police Department is investigating a burglary that occurred on Saturday, April 29th in the 600 block of Spencer Road. Officers responded to the area for a reported burglary in process.
Officers learned while on scene that a known female suspect had entered the residence through a basement window. Once the suspect made it inside the residence, she then threatened multiple occupants with a knife before fleeing the area with a vehicle.
The vehicle was described as a dark colored sedan that went southbound on Spencer Road. IPD are still looking for the suspect and ask anyone who may have any information regarding the suspect or the vehicle, to call the Ithaca Police Tip-line at 607-330-0000.
