Last Thursday, April 13th around 2:30 in the afternoon, officers from the Ithaca Police Department responded to the 600 block of Spencer Road in the City of Ithaca for a reported shots fired.
As officers arrived at the scene, they began to interview witnesses to the shots fired. Witnesses told police they had observed a black male in a white shirt lean out of the passenger side of a silver sedan and fired approximately 4 shots. After firing the shots the vehicle then fled the area southbound on Spencer Road. The vehicle was gone before police arrived.
Ithaca Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the shots fired or any other pertinent information, to call the Ithaca Police Department through their tip-line at 607-330-0000.
