Ithaca Police Investigating Another Shots Fired Call

On Sunday, July 16th, Ithaca Police responded to the 500 block of West Seneca Street in the City of Ithaca just before noon of a report of a vehicle parked that had several bullet holes in it.


As officers arrived, they found a parked vehicle that was reported by callers. The vehicle in question was confirmed to have been shot multiple times. Police were also able to find additional evidence of a shooting on scene.

The vehicle was later released to the owner and towed from the scene to a repair shop. Ithaca Police are asking for assistance in the investigation of anyone who may have witnessed or heard the shooting. Police believe the shooting took place during the overnight hours of July 15th and July 16th.
