On Christmas Day, Ithaca Police responded to the area of 300 West Seneca Street in the City of Ithaca for a reported burglary in progress.
When IPD officers arrived, they made a perimeter around the property. Once officers began to enter the residence, they heard the suspect inside. The suspect then tried to flee out a window, but saw an officer outside and went back inside to where they were arrested.
IPD arrested and charged 32 year old Amanda Linderberry of Ithaca for Burglary in the 2nd, and Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the 4th, both Felonies.
Linderberry though was arrested just days prior (12/22) with felony charges of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property of a stolen vehicle and then on Christmas Eve for Criminal Trespass in the 2nd. She was released on her own recognizance in both cases due to bail reform.
However, Linderberry was arraigned in Ithaca City Court and was then remanded to Tompkins County Jail in lieu of $3,000Cash/Bond.
