Just before 10:30pm on Saturday, November 11th, an officer from the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop in the area of State Route 13 and Luker Road for a vehicle that was speeding.
An investigation with the driver, identified as 35 year old Dustin Fitzpatrick of Ithaca, was driving drunk. He was arrested and charged with DWI, DWI with a BAC of .08% of 1% or greater, both Misdemeanors, Possession of Open Container, and Speeding, both Violations.
Fitzpatrick was taken to the Sheriff’s Office where he was processed and later released with an appearance ticket. He is due in Cortlandville Town Court later this month.
