Three state parks in the Ithaca area will see improvements and updates as part of a $72 million dollar investment in parks across New York.
Governor Cuomo announced funding for 88 projects at State parks and historic sites yesterday.
$150,000 will be used toward completion of the Cayuga Inlet trail in Allan Treman State Marine Park.
$500,000 will go to complete phase one of the Black Diamond Trail from Taughannock Falls State Park to Ithaca. The money will construct just under 8.5 miles of trail.
$200,000 will be used for gorge trail and stairs improvements at Buttermilk Falls State Park.
Another $120,000 will be used to construct 15 rustic cabins at Buttermilk Falls State Park.
