Tonight will be an informational meeting on the future of the former Parker Elementary School in the City of Cortland. The meeting will take place from 6pm to 8pm at the Parker School Building at 89 Madison Street.
Currently, only one proposal has been submitted to the city regarding the redevelopment of the building; that submission was made by the Ithaca Neighborhood Housing Services (INHS). Their plan is in line with the city’s goals of increasing quality housing for modest income workers and people with intellectual disabilities, developmental and mobility needs.
The meeting tonight is just the first step in reviewing the plans for the future of the former school. Information presented from the meeting will be posted online at Cortland.org once the meeting is over.
Those who cannot attend the meeting can also watch it via Zoom, Meeting ID: 923 566 4700.
