If the Cortland Regional Medical Center eventually formalizes a partnership with Guthrie, the longtime Cortland Memorial Hospital Foundation will remain.
Director Beth Nadolski says the Foundation will keep its sole mission of helping the local hospital. “Potential partners have assured us that the Foundation here will stay intact and 100% of the monies raised will stay here to support this facility.”
Nadolski added, “We’re a separate 501 (c)3 from the hospital, but we are a supporting organization. As we go through the affiliation process, because of that, 100% of the monies will stay here, at this facility.”
CRMC and Guthrie recently signed a letter of intent to formally explore a partnership, which could take a year to gain regulatory permissions.
