Homer Central School’s Sam Sorenson has been named Small Football Player of the Year, Division II Wrestler of the Year, and the Male Athlete of the Year for all schools.
“Throughout his high school career, he has consistently displayed passion, sportsmanship, and leadership. Sammy’s commitment to excellence have brought our teams to unprecedented heights.” The school said in a statement.
Sorenson holds multiple records and championships during his tenure at Homer High School and looks to continue his athletic career next year at West Point for the Army Black Knights.
