The Section III nysphsaa wresting dinner was held last week with Sam Sorenson and Coach Jason Reynolds getting honored.
Sorenson had 5-2 decision over Evan Day, from Salem/Cambridge in the 215 pound weight class final. This marks his second straight New York State Wrestling Championship title.
Sorenson grabbed the Wrestler of the Year award with his coach Named ‘Coach of the Year.’
Sorenson ends his high school career with impressive numbers and is attending West Point next year.
