Homer Woman Accused of Stealing Medications – Arrested

A Homer woman has been arrested following an investigation by the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office that found she stole medication.

Just before 8:30 in the morning on Tuesday, February 27th, officers from the Sheriff’s Office responded to an unnamed residential facility in the Town of Cortlandville for a reported larceny. Information reported to officers was medication that had been taken from the location.

An investigation found 38 year old Teresa L. Hammond of Homer, who was employed at the residential facility, had stolen the medication. She was arrested and charged with Petit Larceny, a Misdemeanor.

Hammond was issued an appearance ticket and then released on her own recognizance. She is due in Cortlandville Town Court next month.
