Over 100 people turned out for the Homer Village election forum at the Center for the Arts last night.
The Homer Business Association held a candidate forum to allow residents to ask the candidates questions and find out where they stand on the local issues.
Three of the five candidates vying for the two village trustee positions in next Tuesday’s village elections participated.
Democrat Suzanne Riley, who previously served as Trustee, along with incumbent Republican Trustee Andy Brush and Republican candidate Patrick Clune field questions regarding various village issues including taxes and zoning, The candidates also discussed their priority’s, vision, and position on consolidation. Inevitably the candidates discussed their stand on the village hall and other related issues.
The village election is next Tuesday the 15th.
