An online information session is planned from 5-6:30 pm tonight to allow the community more insight on a proposed solar project in the Towns of Homer, Solon and Cortlandville.
Officials say the proposal would generate up to 90 MW of clean and sustainable renewable energy.
Tonight’s virtual session will include a presentation of the project layout, visual simulations and study details by the Homer Solar project development team, with time alloted for questions from the public.
You will then receive a link to join the webinar, which will include 30 minutes of presentation and another 30 minutes for Q&A with a moderator.
Questions can be submitted beforehand or in the chat of the meeting.
The Cortland County Farm Bureau and Chamber of Commerce are not issuing an endorsement of the project but are participating to give the community access to information and the ability to ask questions.
