Homer Schools Three Finalists For Next Superintendent – Hosting Meet the Candidate Sessions

The Homer Central School District has announced three finalists for the School Superintendent. Current Superintendent, Tom Turck will retire at the end of this school year. The district says they will host Meet the Candidate Sessions with the three finalists providing an opportunity for parents/guardians and members of the community to hear from each candidate.

The sessions will have the finalists respond to two questions from the Board of Education. Homer Schools says there will not be any time allotted during the event for public questions. The three candidates are: Jeffrey Evener, Jonna Ball, and Chris DiFulvio.

“We encourage you to attend these sessions and learn more about each finalist. Your presence and engagement are vital as we move forward in selecting the next leader for our schools.”

Homer Schools stated.

The dates for the sessions will be on March 31st (with Everner), April 1st (with Ball), and April 3rd (with DiFulvio). Each session will begin at 4:45pm at the Homer High School Auditorium and will run until 5:15pm.

The bios for each candidate have been posted online via Homer Schools. You can find their bios by clicking HERE.
