Homer Schools have a public hearing this evening, starting at 6:30 pm in the Training and Education Center on the proposed $24 million capital improvement plan.

The district reports this project will have no tax impact, being fully funded by using New York State building aid, managing debt service payments and using the districts existing capital reserve funds.

This project would continue to support school safety improvements from window replacements, modernizing boiler system, bathroom renovations, roof replacements, parking lot repair, fire alarm upgrades among other improvements. One that would be most noticeable would be the redesign of the bus pickup/drop-off loops.
