Homer Residents Ask to Place Debris at Curb

The Village of Homer Department of Public Works is asking residents to place damaged tree limbs or bushes from Wednesday’s storm out by their curb as DPW crews will be making their rounds to pick them up.

On Wednesday, the Village of Homer suffered significant damage from strong winds and heavy rainfall around 5:15pm. Thousands were without power until the following day Thursday. Residents in the Village of Homer continue to work on cleaning up their yards from tree limbs, fallen branches and even fallen trees.
