Officers of the Homer Police Department are reporting recent arrests.
On Monday evening, April 23, Andrew Fiorentini, 35, of Michigan, was arrested on Central Park Place in the village.
According to information they provided it was a little after 4:30, and Homer and State Police were asked to check a report of a suspicious person in the parking lot of the elementary school.
Police report seeing someone going the wrong way on Central Park Place. The driver told officers he did not have a license so he was ticketed, arraigned, and sent to the Cortland County Jail awaiting bail.
Last Friday morning, April 20, Homer Police Officers arrested Robin Stevens, Jr, 35, of Homer.
Officers determined that Stevens, who is a convicted sex offender, had moved into Homer sometime in February, without filing a change of address as required.
Police say Stevens heard about the warrant for his arrest, and tried to change his address at the Sheriff’s office that morning – where he was taken into custody.
Stevens was sent to the Cortland County Jail with no bail allowed, according to police.
