The Holiday in Homer drew in thousands of people to the Village for what many can agree upon was perfect weather. The event drew in crafts, food vendors, entertainers, and musicians.
It was also a time of fundraising for the Special Olympics. The Village of Homer Police Department raised over $1,400 dollars from their annual “Dunk a Cop” event where patrons can try to hit a target dunking a police officer in water.
