Homer Police & Fire Departments Holding Candy Check on Halloween

As Halloween approaches, the Village of Homer Fire and Police Departments will be hosting a Halloween candy check at the Homer Fire Station at 45 South Main Street. The check will take place on Halloween from 6 to 8pm. Parents or guardians are welcome to bring candy to check to ensure it is safe for the children.

Both the police and fire department are also reminding motorists to drive slowly and to use extra caution on Halloween while trick or treaters are out and about.
