Homer Police Charge Man With Felony For Driving Under Influence of Marijuana

A Cortland man is facing a felony charge for driving under the influence of drugs in the Village of Homer.

Last Friday, Village Police stopped a vehicle near the intersection of James and North Fulton Street after the driver failed to stop at a stop sign.

During the stop, it was determined the driver 25-year-old Daniel J. Kolb of 12 North Church St, Cortland, was driving while under the influence of marihuana.

Kolb was also found with the drug. He was ticketed for failing to stop at the stop sign and possessing marijuana but was arrested on a felony count of driving while ability impaired by drugs.

He has a prior conviction for a similar offense within the last 10 years.

He was ticketed and released.
