Homer man arrested for DWI after crashing in C’Ville

Local News

A Homer man was arrested for driving drunk after wrecking his vehicle Tuesday night in the town of Cortlandville.

Deputies with the Cortland Sheriff’s Office say they observed a vehicle being driven on Albany Street at high speeds by 50 year-old David Beiter, of South Fulton Street in Homer.

Beiter soon failed to negotiate a right hand turn onto Locust Ave and left the roadway, striking a street sign and a driveway culvert before slamming into a tree.

He was found to be intoxicated and is scheduled to appear in Cortlandville Town Court on June 1.
