Students from the Homer Intermediate School were given the opportunity to donate towards Early Childhood Kits to Ukrainian children by their reading teachers, Mrs. Martin, Mrs. Burhans, and Mrs. Stevens.
The students donated their rewards from the Kids A-Z reading program, which partnered with UNICEF. The items included in the kits are toys, games, school supplies, and hygiene items.
The students are proud of what they were able to do to help those in Ukraine.
