Homer Football will host a first-round sectional playoff game this Friday against Central Valley Academy.
Kickoff is at 7 pm.
The Trojans finished with a perfect 6-0 record.
In the final game of their regular season, they blew out Marcellus on the Mustangs’ own turf, with six touchdowns in the first quarter alone on the way to a 66-26 routing.
That win sealed a Class B-West league title for Homer — and the overall 2-seed in the Sectional quarterfinals (New Hartford played one more game and went 7-0 in the East division).
Dominating every team it faced, the Trojans team outscored opponents 292-86 this season.
Friday’s playoff game will air live on WXHC-101.5, presented by Cayuga Medical Center.
