Homer Fire & State Police Respond to Reported Rollover Crash on Route 41

Just before 4:30 in the afternoon, Homer Fire and TLC Ambulance were dispatched to the area of 5539 Route 41 in the Town of Homer for a single-vehicle crash. Cortland County 9-1-1 reported the vehicle had gone off the roadway and rolled over before coming to rest in a field.

State Police tell X101 News the driver, 21 year old Camila Hayes, was traveling westbound on Route 41 in a four door Chevrolet when she overcorrected her vehicle and struck a ditch. Hayes was evaluated on scene, but was not transported.

Route 41 was briefly restricted to single-lane traffic while emergency crews were on scene.
