Homer DPW – Today Last Day For Storm Brush Cleanup; Paving For Village Streets Begins Tuesday

The Village of Homer Department of Public Works (DPW) says today, Thursday August 8th, will be the last day their crews will be making rounds for storm related brush and debris cleanup. Homer DPW Superintendent Phil Stockton told X101 News another pickup won’t be until October unless the village gets hit with another severe storm.

In addition to announcing the final round of brush pickup, Stockton says street paving will begin on Tuesday, August 13th. Cortland Street in the Village of Homer will be the first street to be paved.

Residents with questions are asked to contact the DPW at 607-749-3813.
