Update: In a communication to parents an students today (Dec. 31) Superintendent Thomas Turck announced that due to supply chain issues, the free covid tests the district was to receive to distribute is not going to happen. But Turck did reassure when they do arrive they’ll communicate about where/when they’ll be available.
Original story:
Homer schools are preparing to distribute state provided test kits to families as soon as they are shipped in. There will be a limit of one kit per student if there are enough.
Superintendent Thomas Turck reminds parents the district is only distributing the test kits. It will not be tracking or reporting results – this is not one of those Test to Stay programs you may have heard of. TTS may come in a month or so.
