The Cortland Enlarged School District Board of Education also meets tonight, first with a public information meeting on the proposal to renovate the Junior/Senior High Auditorium.

The vote is December 13.

The Board says there will be no tax increase from this work.

Three-percent raises for top administrators at Cortland Schools go before the Board for approval tonight.

The District Administrators union contract calls for a 3.2% increase, and the teacher’s contract calls for a 3.25 increase. The proposal for this group includes a voluntary move to the highest 3-tier in the district (concession) to serve as an example for future negotiations with CUT and CSEA.

The district’s savings are said to be more than the cost of the increase in salary.

The Board meeting is at 6:30 pm in the Kaufman Center at the Jr/Sr High School.
