The Homer Central School District has announced a public forum will be hosted by the League of Women Votes for the public to “meet” the individuals who are running for the Homer Schools Board of Education.
The “Meet the Candidates” forum will be held on Wednesday, May 10th, starting at 6pm at the Bonne Auditorium at the Intermediate/Junior High School campus. Residents of the Homer School district will have the opportunity to learn more about each of the candidates running and gain a better understanding of why they are running.
Currently, there are 5 candidates running for three seats available with the expiration of the terms of Sonia Apker, Luke Morenus, and Keith Fagerheim.
Candidates running are: John Lawrence, Jessica White, Michelle Marshall, Louis Timothy Martin (Skeeter) and Meghan Gilbert. Their bios may be found by clicking HERE.
