The Center Players are back to deliver a safe and socially-distanced theater experience to the community.

WHAT: Love Letters

WHERE: Center for the Arts of Homer
72 S Main St., Homer, NY

WHEN: Thursday, May 13 – Saturday, May 15 7:30 pm
Sunday, May 16 2 pm

With socially-distanced seating and a cast of two, this intimate drama may be the ideal performance to ease theatergoers into the new normal.

A tender tragicomedy, Love Letters introduces us to Andrew Makepeace Ladd III (Matthew Steele) and Melissa Gardner (Haley Anne Georgia), childhood friends whose lifelong correspondence spans five decades.

While A.R. Gurney’s tale is a nuanced examination of shared nostalgia, missed opportunities and the depth of relationships, it is staged simply; two intricate characters whose compelling dialogue brings a world of emotion to life.
