The holiday season is quickly approaching or slowly approaching, depending on who you may ask and Price Chopper and Market 32 are again hosting the Salvation Army’s “Red Kettle” holiday campaign.
The campaign begins today and will take place at all 130 locations. Price Chopper and Market 32 have been collaborative partners with the Salvation Army for more than 35 years.
“The annual Red Kettle campaign has become integral to the holiday season – both in our stores and in our communities,” said Mona Golub, vice president of public relations and consumer services for Price Chopper/Market 32. “Being able to extend ourselves and welcome our community partners in support of friends and neighbors in need is a blessing.”
Last year’s campaign raised more than $500,000 dollars in donations from kettles at Price Chopper and Market 32 stores. The donations went directly to benefit those in need throughout the communities where the funds were collected.
The campaign runs from today through December 24th.
