When the ground gets warm, a brand new historical marker will be erected at the old Lisle Village Hall.

It was dedicated on Friday, January 5, on the 100th Anniversary of the first woman voter in our state.

She was Florence Chauncey, who voted just after 6 am in 1918.

She helped decide if Lisle would be an alcohol-free town.
