Firefighters, just north of Cortland County yesterday afternoon rescued a injured Hiker a the Hinchcliff Family Preserve on Covey Rd, off of Route 41.
Spafford and Borodino Fire Departments responded to perform a search and rescue. The Marcellus Fire Department also responded with their gator to assist.
The three departments worked together, along with Marcellus ambulance to locate and remove the patient from the woods.
The Gator transported the patient approximately 300 yards to the staging area, according to Marcellus Ambulance.
No information was given on the extent of the injuries.
