A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued in Cortland County and other parts of Central New York until 1 a.m. tomorrow (January 17), with snow accumulations of 2-6 inches expected and wind gusts of up to 45 mph.
Falling temperatures and afternoon squalls will create slippery road conditions and periods of low visibility.
Downed trees and power lines also become a concern during wind storms of this strength.
The inclement weather could impact both morning and evening commutes.
Stay tuned with WXHC for real-time alerts and local traffic updates.
