Harford’s Warning About the State Brush Burn Ban

A reminder from the Harford Fire Department about the state burn ban. It’s in effect until May. Violate the ban and you will be warned, then fined by the DEC.

Why bring this up?

Harford firefighters say they made it just in time for a brush fire rapidly approaching a barn.

They say it’s fortunate there was a good response from volunteers and great help from the Highway Department to get it out.
