On Wednesday, May 17th, officers from the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported larceny that took place at the Tractor Supply in Cortlandville.
After officers arrived, they learned the suspect, later identified as 19 year old Reice M. Winter of Harford, had fled on a bicycle from the store with stolen merchandise. Officers were able to find Winter a short distance away and arrested him.
He was charged with Petit Larceny, a Misdemeanor and then transported to the Sheriff’s Office for processing and later issued an appearance ticket. Winter is due back in Town of Cortlandville Town Court next month.
