On this morning’s (February 20) Happening in Homer segment, Village Clerk Dan Egnor spoke with Vinnie Bellardini about some of the priorities of the coming fiscal year, which officially begins on March 1.
Highlights include a near-balance budget, the continuation of new water meter installations and the creation of two new reserve accounts – one for firefighter breathing apparatuses and the other funding football helmets for the rec department.
Additionally, Egnor discussed the village’s progressive commitment as a Climate Smart Community in New York State.
