The Village of Homer Recreation Department with assistance from the Homer Fire, Streets, and Police Department, will be hosting a Halloween parade and costume contest tomorrow, October 28th in the Village.
The parade will begin at 6 o’clock and go down Main Street to the Community Building behind the Homer Fire Station. After the parade will be cider, donuts, cookies, candy and a costume judging.
The judges will pick winners for best overall costume, scariest, funniest, best couple, best group, and most original costumes.
The Village says everyone is welcome to attend the event. Individuals in costume are invited to just show up before parade kickoff at the back of the Town Hall to march in the parade and enter the costume contest immediately following the parade and the Community Center behind the Village basketball courts.
