Hairy Tony’s restaurant in Downtown Cortland has gotten back their liquor license.
The New York State Liquor earlier this week announced the bar had gotten back it’s license after an emergency suspension.
Owner Anthony Caruso, owner of the establishment, was fined 25K after pleading a conditional no contest for selling alcohol to underage customers.
The license was suspended back on October 27th.
City police, the NYS Liquor Authority and the NYS DOT on October 22nd did a bar check at Hairy Tony’s Basement around 11 that night.
During the bar check, according to city police 70 customers had fake ID’s with 69 of those were underage.
