Guthrie Veterans Committee Offering Free Gift Wrapping at Cortland Hospital

Guthrie says the Guthrie Veterans Committee will be offering free gift wrapping for the holiday season for patients and members of the community across the Guthrie system. All gift wrapping will be free, but Guthrie says donations will be accepted and greatly appreciated. There will also be U.S. Military ornaments available for purchase for $10.

Free gift wrapping will take place in the hospital cafeteria at Guthrie Cortland Medical Center from 10am to 6pm beginning on Monday, December 15th through the 19th and then again on December 22nd.

Proceeds from donations will benefit Guthrie veterans activities, Guthrie says. Those include the Veterans Resource Center in Sayre, Memorial Day and Veterans Day activities, Guthrie veteran recognition and the Veteran Patient Assistance Fund, which provides financial support for veterans or members of their immediate household struggling with a severe or chronic medical condition.
