Guthrie Cortland Medical Center has announced the entrance to Alvena Ave. from Homer Ave. will be temporarily closed for one day on Wednesday, August 16th, from 7am to 5pm.
The closure is part of the hospital’s ongoing reconstruction of its parking lot. The closure will allow for the addition of drainage basins for the parking lot.
Parking for patients and visitors to Guthrie will remain open across the building’s main entrance with access through Loope Street to Alvena Ave.
Those heading to the ER or Renzi Cancer Center may continue to use the entrance off of West Main Street.
