Guthrie Honors Geibel’s At Harvest of Gold Gala

The Cortland Memorial Foundation’s (CMF) ‘Harvest of Gold’ Gala took place last Friday at Greek Peak to a packed room. It is one of many fundraising events the CMF does to help support the Guthrie Cortland Medical Center. The gala honors community members each year, who have supported the hospital. This year, longtime donors and supporters, Deborah and Stephen Geibel were honored.

Sheila Ossit, Director of the Cortland Memorial Foundation, along with Jennifer Yartym, President of Guthrie Cortland shared all the appreciation the foundation and Guthrie have for the Geibels. They both additionally announced the Primary Care Center at the Renzi Campus has been named Deborah and Stephen Geibel Primary Care Center.

“This is our pleasure to be honored and we’re just so happy to support the hospital, and have been for years as Deb as been for years when she was a teenager even.” Stephen Geibel said to X101

The Cortland Memorial Foundation, established in 1978, supports Guthrie Cortland Medical Center’s effort to continually expand services, develop new programs, and bring new medical technology and treatments to the community.
