Once again, the Guthrie Clinic has been named on Becker’s Healthcare list of “150 Top Places to Work in Healthcare.” Guthrie says they’re the only health system in the area to have earned this designation. This is the second year in a row for the Guthrie Clinic.

“We pride ourselves on providing the highest-quality care to all our patients,” said Dr, Edmund Sabanegh, President and CEO, The Guthrie Clinic. “We achieve our mission because of our incredible caregivers who choose to call Guthrie home. Whether it’s benefits, work-life balance, or joy of the job, we are committed to making our caregivers feel valued and helping them grow in their careers because they are the heartbeat of our organization.”

Becker’s Review is considered a leading healthcare industry news outlet for business analysis. The list released each year shows hospitals, health systems, and health care companies who have a positive impact on the lives of both their employees and those in their communities.

“[Guthrie Clinic] recently made a $23 million investment in its caregivers through a new comprehensive compensation package, impacting a significant percentage of its nearly 7,000 caregivers. In response to employee feedback, Guthrie greatly expanded in-network providers to support team member health, hired more than 1,571 new caregivers over the past year to address staffing challenges, and invested in a dedicated diversity, equity, and inclusion learning community.”

Becker’s Healthcare said in a release.

Guthrie employs over 10,000 caregivers and the Guthrie Clinic noted the recognition isn’t possible without everyone of the caregivers working together to create a culture of collaboration and appreciation.

The organization says the recognition for the second year in a row is part of the caregiver recognition programs available, enhance competitive wage and benefits package, caregiver well being program, diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, and personalized professional development programs and career pathing.
